The three top tether anchors are clearly marked a third of the way down the seatback, but they’re embedded into the carpet and require a bit of digging to connect. We had no trouble connecting to the lower anchors, but this car seat lost a grade because of its top tether connection. Forward-facing convertible: We removed the head restraint to situate the car seat flush against the seatback.Rear-facing convertible: As with the infant seat, Latch connection was easy and front passenger legroom was decent for an average-size person taller passengers may need more room.Our 5-foot-6 front passenger fit OK, but taller passengers will need more legroom to be comfortable.
